Spiced Party Nuts

 
 

This recipe is another super simple one and takes only 3 minutes to make.

It’s bursting with flavor and offers a well-balanced snack or appetizer full of protein and health-promoting fats.

I like to use cashews, almonds, and pecans in this recipe, but feel free to throw in any kind you like. Seeds like pumpkin and sunflower seeds are a tasty addition too.

You could also experiment with different spices such as ginger, paprika, or cinnamon, or add extra punch with chili or cayenne pepper. Herbs like thyme or rosemary work very well too.

Ingredients

Makes 1 medium jar

3 cups nuts (ex. almonds, cashews, pecans)
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 tbsp. cumin
1/2 tbsp. curry powder
1/2 tbsp. salt
A few cracks of black pepper
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Heat the oven to 180° C or 356°F.

Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.

Arrange on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake for about 15 minutes.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 weeks, or in the fridge for up to 6 months.
